Worst Mistakes in LEDwalls Content Creation

Here we go with some tips that may be useful for you (or your designer) you when creating the next advertising to be broadcast on your LEDwall. If you want to get the most out of your LEDwall (and your customers) in terms of recognition from the public, this article will tell us who are the worst mistake people make when creating a new ad. If you do not have LEDwall yet, but you want to make an advertisement for starting your business, I am sure you will find some very interesting items too. So to start. First, the announcement duration: Some people make the mistake of creating ads 30/40 seconds. 30 seconds? Are you crazy? Your public is not sitting on a sofa waiting for the next television show! They are most probably led by the 30/40 km per hour and, I hope, they are more focused on the street rather than on the screen. However, they should be able to see all ads, from beginning to end through. So what's the point of creating a beautiful ad, if they can not read the advertiser phone number and address at the end of this announcement because it is too long? In my experience, an announcement should be a maximum of 10 seconds in length (often 15). Longer ads are unnecessary because either your target is the beginning not the end, or vice versa. In both cases, 1. You did not get the message across, 2. The public has not found an interesting message on your LEDwall, will have no incentive to do so again in the future, and 3. Your client did not get much in return for his investment, which should be your first priority if you want him to come and buy your services again in the future. Of course there are exceptions to the "10 seconds", as a general rule, to say LEDwalls installed at the pedestrian zones, where people have more time to watch the LEDwall. But as I said, these are exceptions. They are rare. And anyway 30 seconds is too many, even in these cases. If you have read my previous articles, you know why the text and numbers appear on a blurred image with LEDwall virtual pixel. You can not solve this, but at least try not to make it worse! The first rule of formatting text in the creation (ie address, phone number, etc.) for a LEDwall AD is ... Ready? Make BIIIG letters! At least 1 / 4 of the screen! I cannot understand designers who create super-small text, which might look nice on their PC or MAC follow when they create, but its terrible when broadcast on the state of LEDwall.Second formatting: do not apply or brilliant hues effects on the text. Get it? As previously mentioned, the effects of this fantasy may look nice on the screen, but they are not cool on the final LEDwall. The reason for this is that, despite its huge size, LEDwall made fewer pixels as you PC monitor. Far fewer pixels. So, there is no need to create special effects that shines on a letter from 5 centimeters to look great on a PC but on an invisible LED screen.Third formatting rule: use only sans serif fonts. If the text is vague on the LEDwall, we should do everything possible to make things better. Serif fonts (ie. Courier, Times New Roman, etc) are very nice on the PC monitor, but they have wheelbases that add unnecessary "noise" in the text and make it look less clear. Imagine this situation worse by the "blurring" effect of the virtual pixel. Not good. Instead, use sans serif fonts such as Verdana Tahoma or, as they appear much more readable on LEDwall. And if you must use a "noisy" are, at least please use it in the big state of size.Fourth formatting: the use of contrasting colours. For more than 20 years, Karen Claus published a table showing the color-match with the best contrast ratio. It has done so for signs static, but the principle is still valid today. According to his research and studies, the best results are: black, black on white, yellow on black, white on blue, yellow on blue, green and white, yellow on blue, green and white. Please use the text color in such combinations and trying to prevent such things pink-on-red.Fifth state of formatting: Most of the text is simple, the better. On LEDwalls you 10/15 seconds to make your ad memorable. This means that if the text was not clear at first glance, people used to give him a second chance. Remember, they are very likely lead to about 35 km / h and I hope they are more concerned about the road rather than a vague title.
